This is what a cloudy lens does to your night drive.
A yellowed lens scatters light before it leaves the housing. Less of it reaches the road, and what does reach it lands short. Slide to see the same road through a restored lens.

The lens is the problem. The bulb is usually fine.
Polycarbonate lenses leave the factory with a clear coat. Sun and road grit wear it off, the plastic oxidizes, and the whole vehicle starts to look tired. Replacement assemblies run into the hundreds. The lens underneath is usually sound.
Yellow haze
The clear coat is gone and the plastic is oxidizing. Light scatters inside the lens instead of leaving it.

Oxidation removed in stages, the lens polished clear, then sealed.
Fine cracking and pitting
Surface crazing from years of UV. It dulls the lens and traps grime.

A 3-year-rated UV protectant is applied to every lens we restore, included in the price.

Prices are for both headlights on one vehicle. Your photos tell us how much correction the lenses need, so you never pay a Rescue price for a Refresh lens.
A new headlight assembly usually costs more than restoring both lenses, and on many cars it is not needed.
Refresh
Lighter oxidation and haze on an otherwise sound lens.
Restore
Heavier oxidation, yellowing, and surface correction.
Rescue
Deep pitting or crazing on a lens that still qualifies.
Technician Review
Some lenses should not be restored. We tell you, and what to do instead.
Final grade depends on lens condition, previous coatings or restorations, lens design, and surface damage. We confirm the grade in person before we start. If it changes, you hear the new price first and can say no. You owe nothing for the visit.
Sometimes the right answer is "don't restore it."
Restoration fixes the outside of the lens. It cannot fix these, and we will not pretend it can:
- Cracks or chips through the lens
- Moisture or fog inside the housing
- Deterioration on the inside surface
- Failed LEDs or electronics, or a damaged housing
If your photos show one of these, you get a straight answer and a recommendation, and you owe nothing.

How much does headlight restoration cost?
Refresh is $139, Restore is $189, and Rescue is $249 and up, for both headlights on one vehicle. Your six photos set the grade, and we confirm it in person before we start.
How do I get a price?

Do you come to me?
Yes. Home, work, or the dealer lot, anywhere in the Spokane and Spokane Valley area.
Will every cloudy headlight restore?
No. Exterior oxidation, yellowing and haze restore well. Cracks, moisture inside the housing, and internal deterioration do not. If a lens should not be restored, we tell you before you spend anything.
What is a 3-year-rated UV protectant?
A professional coating the manufacturer rates for three years of UV resistance. That is the product's rating. The Day Light warranty is two years.
Does the warranty transfer if I sell the vehicle?
Yes. The remaining term stays with the vehicle and goes to the next owner.
How long does the visit take?
Most vehicles are finished in one visit. We tell you the expected time with your grade.
Can you fix condensation inside the headlight?
No. Moisture inside the housing is a seal problem, not a lens-surface problem. That is a Technician Review, and we will tell you what we see.
